Enchanted Cafe’s ambience and menu items are just as magical as the cafe’s name. Sorcerer’s Elixir ($9.90), a colour-changing drink in a bed of dry ice, is one of their most Instagrammed items. Their food is a unique fusion, like the Ngoh Hiang Burger ($18.90), which features a handmade Ngoh Hiang patty made with minced pork and water chestnuts. The ambience and plating makes you feel like you are dining right in the middle of a magical forest!

This Greek deli-cafe which officially opened its doors in late April exudes a homey vibe, serving wholesome Greek bites like their Quinoa Salad (salads from $17) and Grilled Octopus on Hummus ($24). Their Bougatsa (pictured) ($9), which is a Greek breakfast pastry filled with either semolina custard, cheese, or minced meat between layers of phyllo, is also said to be highly addictive. Pop in for a laidback afternoon munching on Baklava ($8) and sipping coffee.

The former is a Santiago tart with creamy vanilla bavaroise, Ivoire 35% ‘Grand Marnier’ crémeux and a citrusy tinge of orange caramel. The latter is a Matcha soufflé sponge cake layered with Mascarpone cheese spiked with a tinge of rum and Matcha powder. Delicious!

In a space that combines retail, food and art, Steamroom with The Pillar and Stones is a zen corner away from the town crowd. It gives playful, modern takes on classic Japanese fare like the Salmon Ochazuke (pictured, $24), which features steamed Japanese rice with torched Norwegian salmon, edamame and salmon caviar served with a pot of smoked tea dashi. Another mouth-watering dish is their Lobster Fregola Sarda Pasta ($28), which features Sardinian pasta shaped like pearls, doused in thick lobster bisque, topped with crab meat and an onsen egg!
