1. Marvel Studios: Ten Years of Heroes

Fans of Marvel, add this to your list of things to do this month.

Assembling Marvel superheroes across 19 films and 10 years – starting from Iron Man – the installations aim to transport visitors into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically focusing on iconic characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy team.

We hear that you might even get a sneak peek of the upcoming Marvel movies, Ant-Man and The Wasp, so there’s definitely one more reason for you to head down to the exhibition.

Sharma’s unique showcase is a sound-only presentation that focuses on a tapestry of experiences, atmospheres, and sensations through a collection of songs by some of Southeast Asia’s remote cultures.

4. Jurassic World: Explore & Roar

With the latest Jurassic World flick coming out in the cinemas soon, here’s a little bit of pre-film fun you might want to indulge in this month. Embark on a prehistoric adventure where dinosaurs roam the earth and plunge into hysteria when Pteranodons and the mighty T-Rex escape containment and wreak havoc in an all-new live action show.

5. Singapore Ink Show 2018

What’s behind the tattoos? A whole lot of artistry and skill, that’s what. Get a glimpse of that at the largest gathering of local and international tattoo artists on the island.

Some of the big names you might recognise are Nikko Hurtado, Victor Portugal, Kinki Ryusakim, Steve Butcher and Gabe Shum.

The one-day food fair is part of Tiger Beer’s commitment to support our local hawker heroes and keep the trade alive. 8. Amek Gambar: Peranakans and photography

Curious about the photography in the early days of Singapore? This exhibition takes you on an exploration of the candid and intimate moments shared by early Peranakan families whilst showcasing some of the rarest and earliest images of Peranakans in history.

Spanning two floors of the museum, highlights include a photo of a Singapore street taken with the very first Kodak camera and flashy digital displays of the modern Babas and Nyonyas of today.

12. DBS Marina Regatta

This annual event is back once again for its 7th edition, with 2 weekends of fun and challenges for adrenaline junkies and urban athletes. This year also marks DBS’ golden jubilee, so you can expect that the highlights have gotten much bigger and better.
