There’s a virtual fair for those who aren’t able to make it on both days.
With luxury retail and nature experience at Jewel Changi and the upcoming Terminal 4 and 5, there are many expectations for the increase in job opportunities at Changi Airport.
The nation’s fast-growing aviation industry is set to offer 2,300 new jobs, with over 40 employers present at this year’s “Adapt and Grow” job fair on Feb 8 and 9 at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport.
80% of the jobs will be available for rank-and-file workers and a third of which will pay more than S$2,000. Some of the hiring companies include AETOS Holdings Pte Ltd, Certis CISCO Security Pte Ltd, Changi Airport Group (S) Pte Ltd, Raffles Medical Group, Scoot & Tigerair. Strong growth is also expected in Singapore’s aviation sector, for both new and mid-career entrants. This fair is organized as a collaboration with NTUC, Employment & Employability and CAAS. According to Channel News Asia, they aim to “provide more opportunities for Singaporeans to benefit from the growth of the sector, drive greater innovation, raise productivity and upgrade skills for our workers”
Programmes
There will be workshops and talks conducted by professionals in the industry about “Social Presentation” and the “Finer Art of Professional Image and Business Etiquette” to equip workers with the necessary skills to make a good impression during interviews.
Additionally, there will be a virtual fair held from today until February 22 where interested members can apply and talk to the firms virtually should they be unable to make it on the 2 days.
