A great office environment paves their employees’ way to creativity and productivity. These companies, with their beautifully-designed offices in Singapore, would make you want to quit your job and work for them. Who would mind going to work if it means working on projects on comfy couches with free-flow snacks and a picturesque view of the city skyline? I wouldn’t mind OT-ing every day.

Here’s a peek into how some of these Singapore offices look like on the inside:

Facebook

Social network Facebook’s Singapore office at South Beach Tower is five-storey high, where they moved there in August 2015. According to Mashable, two of those floors comprise mainly sales and marketing staff.

The Facebook pantry has the feel of a Singapore coffeeshop, with its wooden tables and painted chairs, and a hilarious direction Mandarin translation of the company as the signboard. There is a fully-stocked kitchen on all floors.

The rest of the premises follows the uniquely local charm in its design. You’ll find a meeting room named ‘Kopi kao’, a conference room labelled ‘I’ll be bak choy’, and a printer named ‘Rojak’. The place is also donned with murals and photos by local artists.

There is even beer on tap and Facebook mahjong, perfect for that after work chill session with your khakis.

Google

The big G recently unveiled its new Singapore office located at Mapletree Business City II in November 2016, serving as Google’s Asia-Pacific headquarters. Even though it’s not as massive as its Mountain View counterpart, the Singapore campus takes up blocks 60 to 70, from the third to eighth floors.

The ‘smart office’ has motifs of the corporate Google colours, and employees can enjoy the free gym, which is open 24/7. According to Hardware Zone, nobody tracks how long you are in the gym for or what you are doing during office hours — as long as you produce results.

Meeting rooms are named after MRT stations and local slangs like a ‘Steady Pom Pi Pi’ room. Employees also get to book massages whenever they feel like they need one.

There are two cafes and two canteens (one is adorably named the ‘Goopitiam’) in the HQ, where all the food and drinks are free! Baristas make coffee for Googlers whenever they need to kickstart their day.

Yes, free food, free drinks and free massages and work at the comfort of wherever you please. Who would even want to leave work?

Garena

Garena Singapore’s office occupies levels 16 and 17 of Galaxis Building, 1 Fusionopolis Place.

According to Singapore Business Review, Garena believes that office design is essential to bring out its employees’ creativity — nods to that! They engaged with Philips Connor, billed as amongst top interior designers in Singapore, to make their visions come true.

Their employee numbers outgrew the shophouse in Murray Street and hence this ‘office penthouse’ was born. Just look at that view of the city skyline, it’s great to work in an environment with plenty of natural light and an amazing view.

Garena employees can receive massage services twice a month from an in-house masseuse and they also built sleep pods with proper beds and pillows where they can catch a power nap!

You can de-stress or re-charge with the entertainment options like foosball and air hockey, or stuff your face with the well-stocked pantry of a variety of ice cream, snacks and tea. A well-fed employee and is a happy employee.

Lego

Lego isn’t a tech company like the rest on this list, but it’s right up there with them on the ‘swag’ factor. The Singapore office at South Beach Tower is one of the company’s five main offices around the world.

Needless to say, the office is filled with well… Legos. As you step into the main lobby, you will undoubtedly notice the Lego-built icons of Singapore like the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands among several other buildings.

Well-designed offices seem to head in a similar direction: Lots of natural light and a beautiful skyline. Nothing like a nice scenery to take the stress of your employees and boost creativity.

You will also catch a Lego sculpture of Singapore’s iconic dragon playground at the lobby!

According to Young Parents, the staff do not have fixed desks, so they are provided with lockers to store their belongings. The Hub plans to use only renewable energy by 2020 and use only sustainable raw materials by 2030.

Airbnb

With such an Instagrammable office, going to work at Airbnb is akin to going on a vacation. Airbnb’s mission is for travellers to “Belong Anywhere”, and their beautiful office certainly keeps up with the branding. Employees can work anywhere from a Parisan apartment to a cosy room in Amsterdam.

All the meeting rooms have been styled to look like some of Airbnb’s most popular listings from diverse destinations listed.
