Thai milk tea or rose milk tea? Your pick.

Bangkok’s latest craze and their most Instagrammable tea yet – Cha Tra Mue’s Rose Tea – is now available in Singapore!

Amid much fanfare, Cha Tra Mue announced on their Facebook page that they will be introducing their latest rose tea menu to Singapore on 17 July.

Their new menu will feature 3 flavours – Lychee Rose Tea, Honey Rose Tea and Rose Milk Tea.

When the drink was first introduced in Thailand, it was almost instantly all over Instagram.

Interestingly, there was a word of caution that it has a “laxative effect to some individuals” – so we would not advise drinking before an important event.

But before you get worried about it, rose tea apparently aids detoxification and this is helpful for those with constipation in particular.

Do head down over soon to give it a try, the product is limited for a certain time period only!

Here are some of the other supposed health benefits of Rose Tea in general:

1. Youthful and young skin

Rose petals are rich with anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative and antiseptic. This will make the drink a home cure for various skin conditions.

2. Good for females

Females who suffer from heavy periods that comes with intense cramps can drink Rose Tea to decongest the blood flow.

However, we’re not too sure if the Cha Tra Mue Rose Tea series will be beneficial for this case since the beverages are iced.

3. Strong Immune System Rose Tea is a good source of vitamin C, and two cups a day could help to improve your body’s immunity.

Two cups of Cha Tra Mue’s Rose Milk Tea? Double yum.

4. Beat The Stress

Stressed after a long day at work? Rose Tea supposedly has a positive impact on helping to balance the stress and emotional hormones to calm down your nervous system.

Soft Serve Milk Tea?

Soft serve options may soon be available as well, as Cha Tru Mue hinted in a reply to one of their comments on Facebook.
