Remember those days when we could only get hold of Indomie overseas? Those were the days when Indomie was a precious commodity. (In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, you can easily find Indomie on the shelves of the local supermarkets now)

Who knew mankind could achieve so much with just a packet of instant noodles.

Lo and behold, the first Indomie cafe has just opened just out of reach from our tiny island.

While I call it a godsend, others call this cafe IndoBowl. Situated somewhere in Kuala Lumpur (KL), they serve Indomie in ways you’ve never seen before.

From typical soup and dry variations with an assortment of meats to mega-sized plates with noodles and meats on sticks, the choices are endless and beautiful.

With a spread like this, we might have to make our next trip across the border.

Forget the traditional noodle and egg; they up the notch by serving their Indomie over a bed of meat for this dish.

Despite all the hype, they’ve been getting great reviews so far. Their chilli is apparently something to rave for, according to the netizens on Facebook who showered their fan page with 5 stars rating.

Apart from the aesthetically appeasing bowls of goodness, the hearty bowl of Indomie along side with a slab of meat makes it simply irresistible.

And while we’re at it, why not another shot of the noodle pull. Drooling yet?

However, if you really insist on avoiding the crowd favourites, they do have traditional Indonesian rice dishes like nasi goreng to satisfy your unique craving.

In case you’ve already booked a trip to KL, this is how you get to the utopia of Indomie:

72, Lake Fields, Jalan Tasik Utama 7, Sungai Besi, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

And now we wait for the N(oodle)-wave to hit Singapore… till then, I guess we can all settle for the snack shops below HDBs for a different rendition of Indomie.
