Come this August, Sentosa will be celebrating Singapore’s birthday by creating a So Singapore experience for both locals and tourists to immerse and indulge in.
Ranging from light shows to adventure races to get your adrenaline going, there is something at Sentosa for everyone.
Unique Heritage Carnival 2017 – So Singapore
Travel back in time with the Unique Heritage Carnival 2017 – So Singapore over at Palawan Green.
Costumed characters from Singapore’s pre-war days will be parading around, so do pop by and say hi.
Local delights such as Peranakan Kuehs and Chendol are featured amongst more than 20 food stalls, so don’t have to worry about going hungry at the Carnival.
Food aside, activities such as outdoor obstacle for children as well as movies under the stars are but a small fraction of the galore of free activities.

Magical Moments With The Merlion

Remember the iconic Merlion Magic Lights? A special National Day edition will be featured during this period. Expect to be thrilled by the brilliant display of lights accompanied by enthralling audio and visual effects.
What’s especially unique is the inclusion of augmented reality (AR) features as a part of the light show – simply download a free AT application (marq+) to experience it for yourself.
Marq+ can also be used for Virtual Moments, an interactive guest activity.
Point your smartphones at Singapore icons located around areas such as the Merlion Plaza, Beach Plaza and Beach Station to see AR graphics as well as a short description about the icon to learn more about it.

Sounds Of The Lion City
Sounds of the Lion City is a combination of various performances – traditional Face-changing, Wushu, Peranakan folk songs and even classic Indian songs. These showcases are bound to appeal to all, and music and performance art lovers in particular.

Sentosa Adventure Race

Sentosa Adventure Race 2017 will be a part of the annual “GetActive! Singapore” week that encourages people from all walks of life to get their adrenaline going.
The 5.2km adventure race covers from Palawan Beach to Siloso Skywalk and both water and vertical obstacle courses will be included across seven adventure checkpoints.

Celebrate National Day At Sentosa

On August 9, there will be a LIVE screening of the National Day Parade 2017 on the big screen at iFly Singapore.
