Recreating a downsized version of the popular Ningxia Night Market from Taipei at Sentosa is Asian Night Market: Taiwan Food Festival.

From now till Feb 9, head to the popular beach destination to check out the stretch along Siloso Point and Siloso Beach, as more than 30 stall vendors will be flying in from Taiwan to set up shop there and dish out eats.

3. Rupaul’s Drag Race: Werq The World Singapore

RuPaul’s official drag race world tour is coming to Singapore and it’s going to be out of this world.

Follow mission leader Michelle Visage, along with queens Aquaria, Kameron Michaels, Asia O’Hara, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, Monét X Change and Violet Chachki as they take you on a journey to save the galaxy.

4. Nasi Lemak Run

We’ve definitely seen our fair share of bizarre races, but here’s a new Nasi Lemak Run which we can safely say we did not see coming.

In all seriousness, the Nasi Lemak Run will be held at MacRitchie Reservoir, from 7:30am onwards. There’ll be a total of three races, with the Normal Nasi Lemak (4km) and Upsized Nasi Lemak (8km) being options for adults.

Remember that you’ll be running for your love of the dish, which you will receive a packet of, at the end of your race.

5. Eatbox 2020

Be in for a treat at Eatbox 2020, as the boutique version of Artbox is returning for its second year at Downtown East over two weekends in February. Grab eats from Hong Kong, Indonesia, and of course, Singapore, as Eatbox will be boasting culinary gems from these three countries.

The list of confirmed vendors includes Loco Loco offering up their churros, Genesis Sausage with their sausages made using premium cuts of meat, and popular market drink stall Broti.

6. Zero-Waste Latte Art Throwdown

Presenting Singapore’s first Zero-Waste latte art throw-down in collaboration with Oatly is Common Man Coffee Roasters, with a competition that uses the more sustainable option of Oat Milk to create drinks.

But instead of tipping the coffee down the sink (which usually happens at a throw-down), competitors will take their coffee to the bar, for it to be transformed into a cocktail or mocktail for them or their friends to enjoy.

It’ll be an entire event advocating for environmental awareness while having fun, so head down to find out more.

7. The Son

Welcome Pangdemonium’s 10th year with them as the theatre company opens their first 2020 season with The Son, a play about an increasingly erratic teenager shuttling between his divorced parents.

It’s a timely and important exploration about mental health issues, directed by Tracie Pang, starring Shona Benson, Serene Chan, Nazray, Zachary Pang and of course, Adrian Pang himself.

8. Garden Beats

Riding on the momentum of sustainability, the carbon-neutral music festival has partnered with eco-conscious brands and has environmentally friendly initiatives as part of its program.

Taking the Garden stage this year are headliners indie-rock stalwarts Foals, rising contemporary R&B darling Sabrina Claudio, and mystical house DJ-producer Vivie-Ann Bakos who’s flying the Blond:ish flag solo.

Plenty of local acts are also helming the decks to keep the beats pumping throughout the day and night.

9. Kilo Brunch Club

10. The Hamburg Ballet: Lady of The Camellias

This marks the first time the ballet is performed in Singapore. Lauded as one of his best works since its premiere in 1978, the adaptation of Dumas’s tragedy is famous for its brilliant choreography and detailed portrayal of the characters’ psychology.

Don’t miss your chance to watch this legendary John Neumeier ballet work performed by the Hamburg Ballet, which has been under the helm of Neumeier himself since 1973.
