Singapore Managers Can Expect a 5% pay increase as the labor market stabilizes. This is amid Singapore’s unemployment rate recently hitting a six-year high of 2.2%.

Asian shares and US futures dropped as investors weighed the prospect of an interest rate hike. U.S. stock futures dipped 0.4 percent, a fairly large move for Asian trade whilst Japan’s Nikkei dropped 0.4 percent.

Chinese real-estate investors are losing interest in the US as concerns over the depreciating yuan eases.

The shots’ been fired. North Korea has launched multiple missiles that flew 1000km off the coasts of North Korea. This is not an unprecedented launch as North Korea has been firing since last year.

Pollution kills. About a quarter of child deaths under 5 in the world dies from polluted environments. That accounts to 1.7 million children. This had led to cases of diarrhea, malaria and pneumonia.

China sets 6.5% growth target. This comes after the economy grew at 6.7% last year, which was the slowest rate in 26 years.

Comforting response for government’s housing schemes — specifically the 2-room housing leases where 85% of the elderly opting for shorter leases.

Convenience is key. The new Changi Airport T5 is likely to be served by 2 new MRT lines. T5 is expected to open by 2030. It is expected to be the Cross Island Line and the new Thomson-East Coast Line.

Year of Mobile Royale. With iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxies coming up, a newborn Google Pixel will be introduced to the market as well. And with its reputation as possibly the “best smartphone of 2017”, we expect to see a lot of rivalry.
