This Father’s Day weekend, take a trip down memory lane over at the Singapore Sports Hub.
Themed “Good Ol’ Wonderland”, the Community Play Day organised by Sports Hub is set to make you reminisce the good old days.
The carnival aims to evoke memories of Wonderland Amusement Park, a theme park that was situated at the exact present site of the Singapore Sports Hub in the late 1960s to 1980s.
Think old school amusement rides, carnival game booths and inflatable rides – things that were a huge part of your childhood as an 80s or 90s kid.
Rekindle the joy of riding on the pirate ship, getting dizzy on the classic spinning cups and take Instagram-worthy shots on the merry-go-round.
Fringe activities such as photobooths and face painting will also be absolutely free!
Aside from that, go crazy at the Bubble Playground or if that’s not your cup of tea, sweat it out with the Glowing Zumba and Cardio Blast activities.
There will also be a Heritage Gallery that has guided tours by Singapore Sports Museum, and food and drinks stalls available at the carnival.
Remember to purchase your coupons at the ticketing booth as the carnival rides and games are chargeable. Collect ten stamps to claim a token and redeem prizes at the Capsule Toy Machine!
